Homemaker: Clear the Clutter

Homemaker: Clear the Clutter

So, I am getting ready for a move in March...sigh.

The only thing about this move that I am looking forward to, is getting rid of clutter. I am downsizing a bit, so I need to get rid of stuff.  If I haven't worn it in a long time, it needs to go. If I haven't used it in a long time...bye bye.

I have noticed how much clearer my mind feels since I have started getting rid of the clutter. "To have a place for everything, and everything in its place"...It will feel great. I have purchased a few items to help me organize my new closet (my closet has been in a hallway - long story). I love when keepsake boxes and baskets match; it is easier on the eyes, and I am a huge fan of the uniform appearance.

Not only is it great for your mind, but I feel you attract more of the things you are hoping for when you make room for them. If you have any great suggestions, I would love to know about them. In the meantime, I will be over here clearing out the clutter.

Homemaker: March Pantry

You may not know this, but I love clean lines...Oh, and black. I happened to stumble upon these beautiful jars from March Pantry on Pinterest, and fell in love. I would love to open the pantry and everything match. I know, I know...I am a bit extra, but a girl can dream can't she? I don't care for all the frilly labels you can make yourself either; they are not clean lined enough for me.

Well, when I went to the March Pantry website, and I saw more of what they had to offer. I wanted to go to San Francisco just so I can visit this store. I love the Parson Worktable with the legs that are dipped in black, and how about those John Pawson Novy Dvur candle holders?

Might you know of any products that offer similar clean lines; I would love to know about it?

Happy New Year

Hello There!

I have not blogged in forever! Shame on me. I am sure you can understand that life can take over at times; however, the blog stays with. At times my job can zap a lot of my creative juices; leaving me feeling depleted. There have been so many changes recently that it has effected my personal life. This MUST change.

I have been on a weight loss journey. I never really wanted to blog about this to be honest with you. I never wanted the pressure, or to disappoint my followers, or myself if I happened to not complete my goal. I have been losing weight, but I have not made it the main topic of my life and that feels good. I only hope to completely knock it out this year, and never look back.

Speaking of this year...2014. I haven't really had a plan of what goals I will accomplish. I am really trying to live more in the moment at this point of my life. I am often looking very far into the future. While living in the moment, I would REALLY love to know what my purpose is. My friend has stirred this pot within me on this matter, and this is the question I hope to get answered this year.

So tell me what you hope to accomplish this year?

Kiss Kiss,

Kiran

Homemaker: Let's Fix Something!

I must say that I am still crazy over Alice Supply Co. I love all the cute designs they come out with, and their last Trina Turk collection was bananas. The tool box featured above can be left white, or you can glam it up to your liking. I found one on the Gessato website. Now, as for the tools...it hasn't been that easy. However, I will be sure to update you.
